ARENX enables creators to mint NFT collections that track royalties from music streams and merchandise sales. These NFTs serve as proof of ownership and grant holders the right to claim rewards over time.

How to release NFTs on ARENX

Only whitelisted creators can mint NFTs. This ensures quality and protects the integrity of the platform.

Step 1: Get Whitelisted

Only approved creators can mint NFTs on ARENX. Submit your application via Arena Radio. Once your artwork and profile are approved, your wallet is whitelisted, and you gain access to the creator dashboard.

Step 2: Submit Artwork

Artwork must be submitted to Arena Radio for moderation. Once approved, it becomes available in your ARENX Gallery. Only gallery-approved images can be used for NFT minting.

Step 3: Create Collection

Creators can choose to create music or merchandise NFT collections. Music Collection: Link your music collection to your music album for streaming rewards. (Applies to Artists only) Merch Collection: Launch NFTs tied to approved merch

Step 4: Mint Items in Bundles

Use the 'Create Item' flow: Select approved artwork from your gallery. Define quantity and royalty % (displayed as 'Remaining Shares'). Add item metadata (name, tier, description). Mint multiple items into a bundle. System ensures total shares across bundle don't exceed 100%. Each NFT is linked to a smart contract and holds a % share of future rewards.

Step 5: Launch & Distribute

Your NFTs go live. Fans can buy, sell, and claim rewards tied to your NFTs.

Holding & Rewards

NFTs grant access to streaming and merch-based royalties. Rewards are distributed in XRU tokens to the wallet holding the NFT at time of claim or transfer.

Claiming Rewards

As an NFT holder (fan, artist, or designer):

  • •You can manually claim rewards at any time.
  • •If you transfer/sell an NFT, the system auto-claims your pending rewards first — so you never lose what's yours.
  • •All rewards are distributed in XRU tokens to your wallet.

Merchandise Reward Logic

When merch (e.g., hoodies, caps) tied to an NFT collection is sold via Arena Radio:

  • •ARENX backend captures the sale
  • •Rewards are calculated (Price – Cost)
  • •Converted into XRU tokens
  • •Reward is queued for 14 days (to protect against returns)
  • •Once approved: Reward is routed to the linked DistributionPool and NFT holders claim their share

Streaming Reward Logic

When fans stream tracks from albums linked to NFT collections:

  • •Each full song play = 1 credit ($0.01 equivalent)
  • •Credits accumulate over 30 days
  • •Converted to XRU
  • •Rewards are distributed to the NFT collection pool
  • •NFT holders claim their share
